The Depositary integrates with Goodlord to deliver a seamless end of tenancy journey

The Depositary has announced a new integration with Goodlord, enabling letting agents to seamlessly transfer tenancy data between the two platforms and begin the automated end of tenancy process without duplicate data entry.

The new integration allows agents using Goodlord to send tenancy information directly into The Depositary, automatically creating a tenancy record and removing the need to manually re-enter key details. Information including the tenancy, property, deposit, landlord and tenant is transferred instantly, allowing property managers to move straight into managing the end of tenancy.

Designed to reduce administration and improve operational efficiency, helping agents save time whilst delivering a faster, more transparent experience for landlords and tenants.

The Depositary automates the end of tenancy process, managing everything from tenant communications and checkout coordination through to deposit negotiations and returns. By eliminating repetitive administration at the point a tenancy ends, agents can spend less time on manual tasks and more time supporting customers.

The launch represents another significant step in The Depositary's mission to remove friction from one of the most time-consuming stages of the lettings process, whilst strengthening its growing ecosystem of integrations with leading PropTech providers.

Kristjan Byfield, Co-founder of The Depositary, said:

"I have long been a fan of Goodlord. In fact, there have been many presentations where I've introduced The Depositary as 'Goodlord, but for the end of tenancy process', so it feels like a very natural partnership.

The UK's largest tenancy facilitation platform is now integrated with the UK's only automated tenancy conclusion platform, giving agents a seamless journey from tenancy progression through to deposit return.

By removing duplicate data entry and connecting two best-in-class platforms, we're helping agents reduce administration, eliminate unnecessary manual processes and deliver an even better experience for landlords and tenants. That's exactly what The Depositary was built to do; make the end of tenancy easier, faster and better."

Tom Goodman, Managing Director at Goodlord, said:

"End of tenancy is one of the most operationally complex and time-intensive stages of the rental journey, and one that's traditionally been fragmented across multiple systems. This integration with The Depositary removes that friction.

"By connecting move-out workflows directly with Goodlord, agents can eliminate duplicate administration, reduce errors and manage the entire tenancy lifecycle more efficiently. It's another step towards giving agents the connected technology they need to operate without being held back by manual processes."

The integration is available to mutual customers of Goodlord and The Depositary, providing a simple, connected workflow that enables agents to launch their automated end of tenancy process with a single transfer of data.
